What CyberSecurity is....
What CyberSecurity really is... Cybersecurity has one good purpose: that is to identify cyber threats in an organization, government any industry, calculate the risk related to those threats, errors and handle those threats appropriately. Basically cybersecurity uses the CIA triad model to determine which threats are under its purview. The CIA triad consists of three categories of security: confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Confidentiality involves how assets and data are exposed to people or processes, and ensures that only the people who are supposed to access a resource can access it. Integrity ensures that assets and data aren’t changed without proper authorization. This not only includes items like entries in a database server, but also adding a user to a network, for example.
